The ARC system from IK Multimedia has proven itself over the years in many recording and listening situations worldwide as an effective means to ensure security and control during mixing and mastering in the most diverse and even the most difficult room acoustics conditions. In the new version ARC 3, a new, groundbreaking analysis and correction algorithm is used. The award-winning VRM ™ (Volumetric Response Modeling) technology measures in a 3D space around the listening position and creates a 3D snapshot of your room, identifying problem areas without unduly manipulating the sound. This provides results that cannot be found in other digital room correction systems. As a further novelty, ARC3 has even more parameters for adaptation to personal listening habits. So, for example. edit the bass and treble ranges separately from each other. Measurement microphones from other manufacturers can now also be used with or without a calibration file.
