The Allen & Heath Qu-16 Chrome is a compact digital mixer that excels with its intuitive operation. The 19" mixer combines a touchscreen with plenty of physical controls such as 17 motorized faders and an EQ section. The latter is equipped with twelve encoders. The 16 mono and three stereo inputs can be expanded with the AR2412 stage box, allowing 22 channels to be docked from the stage via a network cable. Stereo inputs 1 to 3 are automatically assigned to stagebox channels 17 to 22. The Qu-Drive USB port allows multitrack recordings to be dragged directly to a USB storage device - perfect for a virtual sound check or post-processing in the studio. The high hardware quality Allen & Heath is known for is also found in the Qu-16 Chrome and is accompanied by studio-quality effects units, EQs and dynamics sections.
